About

Established in 2009, Faraway Tree Gallery is committed to promoting quality Contemporary Art primarily by Indian artists. Since it’s opening, the gallery has held several exhibitions of both well established as well as upcoming younger generation artists, many of whom have received much acclaim. Noteworthy among them are a Retrospective Exhibition of artist RB. Bhaskaran held in January 2010 as well as the Silver Anniversary Exhibition of the Association of British Scholars in August 2010, where works of South Indian artists who have travelled to the UK on scholarships/travel grants from the British Council and the ABS were showcased. In recent times, we have switched to being primarily online, although we still have a display/gallery space, which is available for viewing, only by appointment.

Our endeavour is to provide collectors access to some of the best quality Contemporay Indian art being produced. Apart from original art we also offer limited edition prints of well known Indian artists such S H Raza, Sakti Burman, Meite Delteil, Akkitham Narayanan among others.
